For a long time, I thought resilience meant pushing through. But I have learned that resilience also means stopping to ask: How am I really doing? That question can feel heavy, especially when the people around you depend on your steadiness.

I have started a small practice. Once a day, when the house is quiet, I write three things down: one feeling, one need, and one thing I can do tomorrow that would help. It is not therapy, but it is a door. And sometimes a door is enough to begin.
